Tuesday, October 30, 2007 - Why Didn’t I Bring My Camera?!!! When opportunities like this arise, and I forget my camera, I could really kick myself… Way back in July, CBC's Bandwith's own Alan Neil contacted me asking if I'd be interested in playing a Canadian Divas concert. After months of planning, and a few weeks of rehearsing with amazing backing jazz band My Tiny Circus, on Monday, October 29, I found myself in the company of other local divas Amanda Rheaume, Alanna Stuart, Kellylee Evans, DJ L'Oquenz, Sacha Gabriel, Jessical Linnenbach and special guest – who I even got to back on accordion – local sweetheart Kathleen Edwards! The music was beautiful, the house was full, we felt great! Not much more to ask for. I may not have brought my camera, but it will take a long time for the high to dissipate… For those interested, the concert will be aired on Bandwidth on Saturday, November 3, 2007 and again on Canada Live! sometime in December.
